Hand-operated water pump

Resistant to wind and rain

The hand-operated water pump works according to the Archimedes Principle and was designed for an adventure playground. A dirt and water-resistant type of bearing was required for the Archimedes screw. In addition the bearing point is exposed to the weather. The bearing assembly consists of a fixed bearing and a floating bearing. The weight of the whole rotor is around 100kg. Two igubal® KSTM pillow block bearings were used here.
