Save installation space and gain design freedom with chainflex® control cables

Absolutely cost-efficient control cables with up to 20% smaller outer diameter

The cables were provided with thin TPE insulation, which reduced the outer diameter. Consequently, they can now be used in tighter spaces. Tested extensively as a matter of course in the chainflex laboratory and with the chainflex 36-month guarantee.

This improved generation of chainflex control cables is particularly suitable for typical applications in wood/stone processing and for high oil resistance, especially with our iguPUR jacket compound, in machine tool construction.

Reduce life cycle costs significantly with the right cable selection

Checklist helps in making complex purchasing decisions

Function units for transmitting energy to machines require a large number of electrical cables, often mainly thin and cost-effective control cables like this new generation of the CF8xx cable series. Many cables are similar in structure but have different mechanical properties. In the rarest of cases, however, do cables that are supposedly cost-effective to purchase meet the requirements of complex machines and applications. This often leads to downtime and high repair costs later on - with correspondingly negative effects on Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

In order to avoid that and also significantly reduce the cost, the checklist presented in this free white paper can help decision makers. The list presents the key factors for cable selection and illustrates the relevance of the essential parameters for all decision makers.

Why chainflex? Because our control cables reduce costs & improve technology

Example of a possibility to reduce costs with electrotechnically equivalent energy chain cables with a core cross section of 4 x 0.5 mm²:

A customer using a CF5 (PVC control cable) today has the option of making significant savings in large installation spaces by switching to the CF880. Alternatively, by changing to a CF98, he/she can reduce the installation space by 42% and also achieve a significant increase in service life.

Benefit from our experience and variety of cables. From low-cost solutions with PVC outer jacket to high-end TPE cables. Everything in line with our motto: Tech up, cost down!
