This gearbox enables drylin® shafts to be easily connected to the output side of the gearbox via the built-in coupling. The worm gear can thus be used as an inexpensive angle drive. Shafts with a diameter of 8mm can be connected as standard. Other diameters up to max. 12mm are also possible on request
At igus®, Apiro® stands for cheap worm gears and flexible customized solutions. The modular gearbox system offers a wide range of products based on the combination of various designs on the input and output of the gearbox, different ratios and a wide range of accessories. In addition to worm gears, bevel gears and cantilever axes are also available in the modular gear system.
A modular design and the simple connection of individual components allow cost-effective solutions for an infinite number of applications. Hence the name: "Apiro" is the Greek word for "infinite".
With Apiro®, special solutions can also be implemented quickly and inexpensively.
