igubal EGZM – versatile and robust double joint for demanding applications
The igubal EGZM double joints, produced using the injection moulding process, are connecting elements that prevent edge pressures and can compensate for misalignments. They are made of the impact-resistant polymer igumid G and offer high wear resistance as well as strength under extreme conditions.
The material of the clipped-in spherical ball can be selected, with iglidur W300, J, J4, J4V, R and stainless steel being available. The iglidur materials as well as the housing contain integrated solid lubricants that replace external lubrication. This results in a maintenance-free double joint bearing with ecological and economic advantages. The temperature resistance depends on the selected spherical ball material, whereby the housing material igumid G covers temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and can withstand short-term exposure up to +180°C.
