igubal EK – spherical ball for a wide range of applications with a long service life
The stainless steel spherical balls available in dimensional series E and K are used in various products of the igubal series. The combination of a plastic housing and a stainless steel spherical ball in our rod ends, flanged bearings, pillow block bearings, double spherical bearings and coupling joints has proven itself in numerous applications.
Beyond the igubal® series, the spherical ball can also be used in customised and machined components. In combination with iglidur materials, users benefit from the tribological specifications and the embedded solid lubricants, making them lubrication- and maintenance-free. The spherical design enables movement in multiple directions, thereby offering high flexibility for dynamic applications.
Stainless steel is corrosion- and temperature-resistant and particularly suitable for applications in the food and medical sectors. As an FDA and EU 10/2011-compliant alternative, we offer spherical balls made of iglidur A181 and FC180.
