drylin® W hybrid roller bearings

If you want it to run very smoothly

In a hybrid linear bearing, a combination of plain and roller bearings work together: integrated rollers achieve low drive forces, while the sliding effect of the plain bearings protects against lateral forces. This combination enables the absorption of abusive forces:

1. Reduction of the coefficient of friction
2. Reduction of the required drive force
3. Function of the system without restricting the 2:1 rule

Robust, vibration-dampening for high loads and a long service life

The concept of the linear plain bearing differs from the linear bearings with recirculating ball bearing guides in the type of movement. Plain bearings don't roll, they slide. The bearing elements are not separated from each other by rolling steel balls, but are sliding directly on the rail or shaft without a rolling element.

sustainability

Sustainability

drylin® linear technology does not use a single drop of lubricating oil. In addition, our tribologically optimised materials produce less micro-abrasion than commercially available plastics. Longer service life also has a positive net effect on the environment.
