Stock Control Job Description

To assist the stock team of igus UK with cycle counting, stock check requests and investigations, handling materials for our change recycling program and conducting off-site counting audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Dealing with both issues and requests through Microsoft Teams Channels
• Working with our returns department to investigate inventory and quality discrepancies
• Sorting our recycling material into waste streams for our CHAINge program
• Cycle counting of igus inventory, specifically chain and cable
• Off-site counting audits of our stock holding suppliers

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, specifically Teams
• Good understanding of English language
• The cycle counting will involve physical lifting of boxes up to 30kg, so a good standard of physical fitness is an advantage
• Good teamwork skills
• High attention to detail
