igus® tribo-tape is a self-lubricating, wear-resistant liner that reduces friction and noise in sliding applications—ideal for machine beds, conveyors, and medical devices. This reduces noise and creates a smooth sliding motion without reducing co-efficient of friction.
The tribo-tape or adhesive tape, comes in various materials and widths as standard. These range from 20mm wide up to 500mm wide and come in thicknesses of 0.5mm to 1mm either as self-adhesive or non-self-adhesive backed.
Being easy to cut to shape – possible with a pair of scissors –allows for endless possibilities of use, for example in medical equipment, food industry machinery, furniture manufacturing or in machine tool making.
