A special design of the linking element made it possible to use this triflex® R energy supply system on a SCARA robot. This robot removes and supplies from a working area; at the same time, a rotation by 270° is performed six times a minute. The special feature of this application is the hot chips produced during the machining process, which do not stick to the igus® e-chain® and therefore extremely reduce the maintenance expenditure as a result.
