What is the new product for?
The previous igus®® modular system for rotating applications has been revised and optimised based on our many years of experience with individual project solutions. The new rotating energy supply SRM is supplied as a complete system with e-chain®, connection elements, interior separation, strain relief and guide trough made of galvanised steel.
Area of application
The complete system is designed for all rotating applications in almost all industries with an external diameter of up to 2.8 metres and a rotation angle of up to 380°.
What are the benefits?
With the SRM, our customers receive a customised complete system with a system guarantee. All required components can be ordered with a single identification number.
Sizes for the SRM system
Outer diameter 600 and 800 with e-chain® E4.21
Outer diameter 900 and 1200 with e-chain® E4.32
Outer diameter 1500 and 1800 with e-chain® E4.42
Outer diameter 2400 and 2800 with e-chain® E4.56
Individual requirements
Larger rotation angles or diameters are still possible with customised project planning. Intermediate sizes can be calculated easily and immediately.

The rotating energy supply PRM is a plastic trough for smaller measuring and handling machines, for example. The guide is also suitable for camera applications. It does not require sliding contact and is protected against corrosion.
