Cleaning technology

Overview

For cleaning purposes, mainly plain bearings but also stainless steel shafts and drylin linear bearings from our product portfolio are used for the support of bottles in the washing chain, the automated unscrewing and emptying of bottles or in the lifting station. Here, dependence is placed on components that work reliably and at the same time without the use of lubricants, despite continual cleaning.

Used products and application examples

In the following, six important stations are shown, from the feeding of the bottles into the cleaning process via the lifting station to the transfer area of the beverage containers. On the right, there is a link to the user report regarding a modern washing system for kegs - the Innokeg AF-C Transversal from KHS.

A drylin ZLW linear axis conveys the bottles or kegs to the subsequent stations. It is characterised by its excellent robustness even under heavy weight loads.
Washing chain

2. Bottle washing machines

In the washing chain, the bottles are mounted on iglidur J plain bearings in such a way that they can be pivoted.

Bottle unscrewing and emptying

3. Bottle unscrewing and bottle emptying

Here plain bearings made of iglidur J are used together with precision stainless steel shafts and linear bearing drylin RJUM, with linear liner JUM-01 to optimise the running performance.
Bottle gripper

4. Bottle rinser

iglidur J plain bearings are used for the bottle gripper. iglidur J plain bearings enable pivoting and are used as spray pipe bearings.
Transfer wheel / transfer table

5. Transfer wheel / Rinsing

iglidur J plain bearings have been fitted here as bearings for the main shaft to facilitate transfer wheel rotation and as bearings for the gripper jaws.
