Ball bearing pillow blocks
The xiros® pillow block units from igus® are not only up to 60% lighter than metal ones but are also up to 40% more cost-effective. They allow lubrication-free, low-friction operation with a high standard of hygiene.
Resistance to corrosion and various media is a further advantage of polymer pillow block bearing units.
In addition to the fixed versions, pivoting pillow block units that compensate for misalignment are available.If required, these are also available as completely metal-free and at the same time non-magnetic solutions with glass balls.
A 1:1 replacement of metallic pillow block bearings is possible.
Available inner diameter of locking variants: 6, 10, 15, 17, 20, 25, 30mm

Ball bearing pillow block options available
The pillow block ball bearings are lubrication-free, extremely resistant to corrosion and media and have a long service life. We offer the pillow block ball bearings in two versions: locking or pivoting. If required, these are also available as completely metal-free as well as non-magnetic solutions with glass balls. A 1:1 replacement of metal pillow block bearings is possible without any problems due to the identical dimensions.

The xiros® ESTM pillow block bearing is available with the shaft diameters 15mm, 17mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm. With its FDA-compliant components, this pillow block unit is used in the food and beverage industry. It is extremely easy to replace conventional metal bearings with our polymer pillow block unit due to simple installation of the bearing.
