For more stability despite UV irradiation

We have developed the iglidur® P UV for this purpose
Ultraviolet rays not only damage the human skin, but also inorganic materials. Plastic in particular degrades depending on the duration of exposure and thus loses mechanical strength in the long term.

This effect plays a role in photovoltaic systems in particular. The structures, which weigh several tonnes, need to be precisely aligned with the position of the sun. If the supporting systems give way, the ideal alignment can no longer be guaranteed.
