Guidefast® Cable Trough System

For applications such as indoor cranes, the Guidefast® guide trough system offers all of the traditional benefits of festoons, with the added advantage of fast and easy installations.
The guide trough installation bracket is mounted to the side of the crane girder with a single bolt, eliminating the need for fabrication and the welding of special brackets. Installation times are kept very short, as the guide trough only needs to be mounted in the previously installed brackets before being fixed with clamping blocks. Installation of a complete system can be done by a single person in only a few hours.

Guidefast® brackets
Control device guidance guidefast control GFC+ on indoor cranes
The guidefast control guidance system is mounted directly onto the crane girder, enabling fast and straightforward installation. Working alongside the guidefast trough that guides cables to the trolley (hoist), it ensures smooth and reliable operation.
The integrated trough securely guides the moving arm, keeping it safely in place even during short-term peak loads. The roller-mounted arm can be easily moved along the entire length of the crane girder, independently of the hoist position.

Setting up the guidefast control on a crane girder
- Install the guidefast control brackets at 1 m intervals
- Mount the guide troughs, ensuring a 2 mm gap between each section
- Place the fixed end of the energy chain into the trough and secure it with cable ties for strain relief
- Install the guide carriage
- Position the moving arm of the energy chain within the trough
- Fit end stops at the beginning and end of the travel path
