Up to 350mm retraction length based on elastomer bands (RSEL) or tension springs (RSSL)

Avoid loops forming on the robot head with the RSEL or RSSL retraction system. The two systems have been specifically designed for automotive production for robots with medium to high working loads. The compact dimensions of the system and the close guidance of the e-chain® on the robot also reduce the working area of the robot to a minimum.

The difference between TR.RSEL and TR.RSSL

The TR.RSEL and TR.RSSL do not differ in terms of dimensions or appearance. The big difference lies inside the systems. Find out which one it is and why.

The part number. TR.RSEL.60 stands for triflex® (TR) and R(etraction) S(ystem) E(lastic) L(inear) in chain size 60.
In this system, the retraction force is realised via elastomer bands, which ensures a smooth and consistent retraction force.
The elastomer straps have already proved their worth with the large or longer brother, the linear retraction system TR.RSE. The reduction in length and material in the TR.RSEL ensures corresponding cost savings.

In the TR.RSSL.60, the letters and numbers stand for triflex® (TR) and R(etraction) S(ystem) S(pring) L(inear) in chain size 60.
Instead of Elstomer straps, the retraction force is realised via spring elements. The use of springs provides greater independence from oil or oil vapours, which could possibly have an influence on the elastomer belts due to the many different compositions. If oil or oil vapours do not play a role in your application, we recommend the TR.RSEL due to its smoother running.
