Drill rig components are exposed to high loads: dirt, dust and strong vibrations put a strain on them. With our energy chains, you can ensure the protection and safe guidance of hydraulic and other cables on feed carriages and crushers of horizontal drilling systems (HDD systems) or on the mounts of vertical drilling rigs. We offer modular chains made of solid plastic, a hybrid plastic-steel version for heavy-duty applications and complete systems including cable and connector.

We also have heavy-duty materials in our range in the area of plain bearing technology, which are used in the chain drive , for example. They are 100% lubrication-free, making time-consuming maintenance work superfluous.

readychain® in land drilling rigs

Land drilling rigs are used to drill oil, gas, and geothermal wells. As these modular systems are regularly relocated, both installation space and rig-move time are critical factors in ensuring cost-effective operation.

readychain® systems help optimise both. Because the e-chain® operates within a defined trough system, the required installation space is reduced, allowing for a more compact mast design. In addition, the readychain® system and Top Drive can remain installed in the mast during transport, significantly reducing rig-move times and minimising downtime.

An alternative solution is the e-loop®, which replaces conventional service loops. Supplied as a readychain® system, it combines the benefits of an e-chain® with a high-strength hauling rope, delivering greater reliability and durability than traditional loop systems.
