In outdoor installations, it is the weather or heavy soiling that the horizontal energy supply systems have to withstand. A compact design is required for particularly small installation spaces. If media, energy and data need to be routed vertically, vertical solutions are required. Important factors play a role in the implementation: The mounting brackets must be fastened in such a way that the energy chain has no possibility of movement to the outside and the cables can move freely in the longitudinal direction at all times. Our solution: We offer vertical hanging and space-saving energy chains with rigid plastic metal connection elements for high-bay warehouses and stage construction. The segmental design and lightweight components enable a reduction in weight and noise levels. The design of the energy chain also allows easy access for servicing. Compared to the complete enclosure of the cables, you save considerable weight and, above all, costs.
Long unsupported travels
Chips and dirt are a disruptive factor, especially in machine tools on long travels when energy chain sliding has to be used. For this application, we have developed a horizontal upper run guide called "guidelok". Thanks to the open design, the ingress of metal chips between the sliding surfaces of the upper and lower run is prevented, which would otherwise be the case with conventional sliding systems. Applications and industries that benefit from guidelok horizontal are machine tools of all kinds as well as machines that produce large amounts of waste and chips.
