Equipped for the Onfield 4.0 driver's cab

The latest trend in the design of cabs in agricultural machinery is the Onfield 4.0 cab. Tractors or harvesting machines such as combine harvesters are already often GPS-controlled and equipped with extensive sensor technology. Digital networking will continue to increase so that the farmer can remain productive even with a low workload.

Office tasks such as bookkeeping will then be carried out from the agricultural machine. Displays with flexible adjustment options will therefore characterise the interior design even more. However, the driver's seat must also be particularly flexible to adjust and be able to swivel towards the side console, for example.

Flexible seats for greater safety and high productivity

Whether in construction cranes, harbour cranes or intermodal cranes. Modern crane cabins are characterised above all by driver's seats with a wide range of adjustment options. This not only applies to flexibly adjustable head and armrests. In order to maintain an overview at all times during the load lift, the seats should be able to be moved forwards and backwards in a linear fashion and also be easy to tilt. This ensures high productivity and a high level of safety at the same time. Other adjustments in the crane cab include sliding displays and control elements, above all the master switch.

Operating heavy machinery safely

Excavators, wheel loaders, tracked vehicles or transporters: the cab design also plays a part in the safe movement of heavy machinery. A high level of comfort, a good overview and a natural seating position are required here. A wide range of seat adjustments, for example via linear rails on the armrest and headrest or with slide bearings on the backrest adjustment, allow the right seating position for every machine operator. They must also work maintenance-free in contact with dirt and high humidity. In addition, the operator must be able to rely on the flawless and smooth operation of the control instruments. Vibration-damping, maintenance-free and lubrication-free bearings are used here.
